In Dreams....

Hi everyone,

Here's a topper I've made using one of my favourite vintage images which I bought a while back on Etsy.

I have stamped and cut out some beautiful Anna Griffin flowers as part of the embellishments and have die cut the others with my trusted Magnolia DooHickey die.

The papers are Bo Bunny (including the little butterflies which I cut out)and the sentiment is Tim Holtz.

I was inspired by the following challenges for this project:

Deep Ocean - Pastel Colours

Creative Card Crew - Anything Goes

Let's Get Shabby - Colour Challenge

Daring Cardmakers - Just Because

ABC - B is for Butterflies

Thanks so much for stopping by today :o)

Fairy Silhouette

Hello everyone!

It's so lovely to be posting a card today.... it's been a while that's for sure! I have had so little crafting time for the past six months due to work commitments and being very busy with two kids! Not complaining about the latter though as they are growing up so fast.... twelve and sixteen now.... and every minute is so precious to spend with them before they become adults and get on with their own lives!

So I made a card using one of a set of pretty Fairy Silhouette stamps by Lindsay Mason Designs which I picked up a while back on Ebay. The dies are a mix of Memory Box, Magnolia and Joy Crafts and I think the paper is MME. The sentiment is also Magnolia and the cream and white flowers are from Wild Orchid. I added a touch of doodling to the die cuts and glittered the fairy's wings.

I noticed that the OCC Challenge today is silhouette's which is very convenient (smile) so I'm entering my card there.

I am also entering Cute Card Thursday where the theme is Fairies and Angels and Flutterby Wednesdays which has an open theme.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Love and Adore....

Good morning!

Here is a topper I made using Tim Holtz Old Jalopy die..... created very much with a shabby chic theme in mind and perfect for a wedding card in the future me thinks! This is one of my all time fave TH Alterations dies I have to say and the topper came together without too much of my usual emebellishment overload, lol!

The flowers are WOC and the foliage is from a Cheery Lynn die. Those rose corners were created with a Fiskars punch and the sentiments are TH Adage tickets.

I'm entering the following challenges today:

MAWTT - Shabby Chic and/or Vintage

CCT - Spring Flowers

Crafts and Me - 3D

Deep Ocean - Song Inspiration (Going To The Chapel)

Thanks so much for your visit today.... take care ;o)

True Friendship....

Hi everyone,

A very happy Easter to you all! I hope you are all enjoying the lovely break we get at this time of year and all that scrummy chocolate. Easter means more than just eggs to me, as I have a very strong faith and like to remember the real reason for the celebration, NEW LIFE!!!

Anyway, I thought I would do something a little different with this card and chose to make die cuts the focal point... these are of course from the Tim Holtz range. The flowers were created by cutting from Kay & Co design paper as this is a technique I really love. The sentiment is also by Tim Holtz.

Here are the challenges I'm entering today:

Simon Says Stamp - use your favourite tool (die cutting machine)

Papertake Weekly - Anything goes

Truly Madly Crafty - Handmade flowers

Creative Card Crew - Spring

CRAFT - Spring

Totally Papercrafts - BINGO (Blue, Diecut, Flowers)

LOTV Happy Birthday.....

Hi peeps,

I had lots of fun making this card and as you can see there are butterflies galore! I'm so glad I got hold of the Tim Holtz Butterfly Edge die as its so pretty and versatile.

The sweet fairy image is a LOTV topper which I have glittered profusely. There are more gorgeous WOC flowers and those KaiserCraft leaves have made another appearance too!

I've added in a Memory Box die and some nice Kay&Co papers and the card is A4 size again.... enjoying doing these at the minute!

I'm entering the latest Lili's Little Fairies Challenge where the theme is Butterflies and Fairies and Deep Ocean Challenge which has a Butterfly theme too!

Sweetheart......

Hellooooooooo!!

Sorry for being away for so long...... I've had so much going on and crafting has been taking a back seat...... until today that is when I was lucky enough to find a couple of spare hours.

Seems like forever since I coloured a Tilda image and this one is very fitting for the time of year. I sat in the dining room with my Prismas, a cup of tea and the Australian tennis final....... ahhhh bliss!

I've used Prima papers and they've been heavily distressed. I also got to play with my new favourite die from Memory Box.... this is the first of theirs that I've tried and it really cuts beautifully! I made the two pink flowers myself using various punches and the leaves are also punched out.

I'd like to enter the follwing challenges with my card:

Paper Sundaes - Valentines

Stamptacular Sundays - Diamonds or Pearls

Simply Magnolia - Hearts & Love

Allsorts - One Or More Hearts

True Friendship....

Good morning folks!

I hope you're enjoying your weekend so far? Yesterday hubby and I took the day off to go out with the kids and we ended up at Cadbury World.... I will have a few pictures to show on my next post. I'm not really a chocolate lover but everybody else is.... and we really enjoyed seeing the history and workings of such a big and famous company.

Anyway, I'm here to show you a vintage topper I've made.... in pretty blues and greens this time as I do love this colour combo. I was really pleased with how the flowers turned out... made using DooHickey dies and my own rolled roses. Hopefully you can see tucked behind all the layers that I used Basic Grey Curio papers and the lovely sentiment is Tim Holtz. Everything has been sanded and distressed as always. Oh and I nearly forgot the most important thing.... this stunning image is from an Etsy shop which you can find here.... the quality of these beauties really is something else!

Here are the challenges I'm entering today:

Basic Grey - Anything Goes

Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes

Sweet Stampin' - Anything Goes

Charisma - Anything Goes

Hope you are keeping well and happy! I printed the roses from a Joanna Sheen CD and cut them out.... the sentiment is Magnolia and there's some Tim Holtz film strip ribbon hiding in there too.... oh and the scrummy metal frame was a great find on Ebay. Of course everything has been sanded and distressed as much as possible ;o)
