Wow, what a change to the weather this morning..... I even had to photograph my card inside for the first time in ages!! Still at least the temperature is more bearable today ;o)
This is an easel card I made for a family member and I used a vintage image instead of having to colour something in for a change. It still took me forever to make the card though, lol!
The beautiful papers I used are Webster's Pages and I have to do a serious amount of stroking before I feel ready to cut into them!!! I added some white Doodlebug stick-on letters to spell Sylvia and then created the usual bundle of foliage and flowers, plus a Papirloftet butterfly. I'm quite pleased with how everything turned out as I think the card fits the person really well.... and after all, that's what we try to achieve isn't it!
Well I must also say a huge thank you to everyone who stops by my blog to take a look..... and if you have time to leave a comment too then bless you!
Must dash now..... the office is calling, groan!!!
Cardmaking is my passion and I love sharing tips and ideas with other talented crafters. I wake up with ideas buzzing around in my head and go to sleep the same way. My family think I'm bonkers but that's fine by me. I have an ever-growing wishlist, made worse by all the wonderful cards I see when hopping around on a daily basis. I have made some wonderful friends through my hobby, long may it continue!!
