I'm sure you've all read about Michelle by now and know what has happened to her recently, so I won't go into detail here on my blog..... but if you do want to know more then you can read her story here. I don't know Michelle personally but I have been so warmed by all the efforts people have been making to support her that I felt compelled to make and send her a card. And I pray that she continues to find the strength to be strong and battle the storm, she certainly sounds like a wonderful lady..... big hugs to you today Michelle! I'm entering the card into this week's ASFOS Challenge where the girls have made some wonderful cards for Michelle and are asking all of us to do the same..... can you imagine how much all that mail will cheer her up and make her feel totally blessed?!!!
I decided to go for a criss-cross pocket card so that I can enter the special monthly challenge at Just Magnolia and I have used the Magnolia 'donkey' as my image, lol! It took a while for me to put everything together but it was lovely to create something different!
I used Basic Grey Kioshi papers and a Martha Stewart punch to create the edges. The flowers are from Papirloftet and the raffia is from my stash.
Well as usual I'm in a mad rush so I'll have to fly..... take care and have a fab day ;o)
Cardmaking is my passion and I love sharing tips and ideas with other talented crafters. I wake up with ideas buzzing around in my head and go to sleep the same way. My family think I'm bonkers but that's fine by me. I have an ever-growing wishlist, made worse by all the wonderful cards I see when hopping around on a daily basis. I have made some wonderful friends through my hobby, long may it continue!!
