Always There.....

Good morning folks!

Today I have a card which I'm entering into the latest Cardvaarks Challenge..... I followed the first of two sketches over there and managed to play with my new Hero Arts Clings Floral stamp. This definitely isn't my usual style and the same applies to the card I'll be uploading tomorrow..... just playing around and having a go at something a bit different really, inspired by all the wonderful creations I come across in blogland.

I had fun cutting out different layers on my stamp and then lifting them to give some depth to the flower. The leaves and dragonfly are Magnolia Doo Hickey dies and the papers are Basic Grey, a mix of Phoebe and Dasher. I used a Cuttlebug folder to emboss the leaf design on the white card. The sentiment is a Melissa Frances rub on.

I'm also entering my card into the following challenges:

Sentimental Sundays - Recipe (one solid paper, two patterned papers, 3 embellishment, plus sentiment)

Crafty Emma - Floral Frenzy

Papertake Weekly - Just One Of Something (Flower)

Creative Inspirations - Pastel Green, Pink and Cream (okay so it's white, but nearly there, lol)

Thanks so much for stopping by today for a peek...... you take care now!

TTFN and TFL, hugs Tara xxx

You are never afraid to try something different - I love it!! It's so easy to only do things you've grown comfortable with!
It is a beautiful card - love the earthy colours and texture. What's the size of it, I wonder? Just curious because I always curse If I decide to emboss the background as the folders are always too small for my needs.
