Appreciative.....

Good morning peeps!

This is a quick post a I'm dashing off to work as usual.... you know, cup of tea in one hand and mascara wand in the other, lol! Here is my card for the current Just Magnolia Challenge where the lovely Mina has provided us with a perfect sketch to follow..... I flipped it for my card ;o) I took inspiration from the uber talented guest Mindy who is being featured this week.... she added a punched border to the very edge of her card and I thought it looked so pretty I decided to do the same!

I used papers once again from the new Papermania Henbury Lane range and added one of the sweet felt butterflies they have released too, which I fastened to the back of the Tilda image. The flowers are Papirloftet and the pearls and ribbon are from my stash. Do you spot the sweet little butterfly? I picked that up recently at Hobbycrafts, isn't it totally adorable?

Well enjoy your day friends..... the office awaits me so I really must fly!

Tilda - Made With Love.......

Happy weekend everyone!

I hope you're enjoying this very fine weather we're having at the minute..... long may it continue! Here's a card I made yesterday using Tilda from last year's Summer Kit, along with accessories from the Summer Kit and the latest Fairytale Kit. My papers are Papermania Blueberry Hill and I'd forgotten just how pretty these were! The lace is from my local haberdashery store and the flowers are yet more Papirloftet.... can you tell I love 'em? I added various punched and die cut leaves and a border was punched with my trusty MS doily punch.

I'm alot happier with this card..... I think it's my return to pastel colours once more ;o)

I have quite a few challenges to enter with this one, so here goes:

Colour Create - Baby Pink and Pastel Blue

Everybody Art Challenge - Summer

Sir Stampalot Challenge - Punch It

Charisma Cardz - Flowers

Magnolia Stamp Lovers - Summer

Stampavie and More - Summer

Thanks so much for stopping by and take care ;o)

Loving Wishes.....

Good morning....... hope the sun is shining brightly for you today and you have some fun stuff planned! No fun for me sadly as I'm just making my way to work, but I'll just look forward to a cuppa in the garden when I get home ;o)

I made this card a couple of days ago but haven't had time to post it...... hmmm, it's one of those that had to grow on me. Not sure if it's the colours or what, as I seem to be very much in a pastel mood at the minute. Anyway I used this sweet Tilda holding a tulip and the new Basic Grey Cappella papers, along with various floral bits from Prima and Papirloftet. The sentiment is also Magnolia and you'll see I managed to sneak on some of my Stempleglede stamps in the corners again ;o) I'm entering this card into the Create4Fun Challenge as I have followed the wonderful sketch there.

Well I really must dash now and finish getting ready, so I'll catch you later!

The Little Princess.......

Happy Bank Holiday to everyone lucky enough to be enjoying this extra day off.... just wish the sun was around though!

I've decided this Tilda is my fave ever..... she's so sweet and magical and I loved colouring and glittering her! This card is for a friend who is due to give birth any day now.... she already has two boys so I'm hoping it's a girl this time or else my card won't be suitable. I am about to make a card for a boy though, just in case!

I've used some scrummy papers from Webster's Pages Lullaby Lane range..... I had to stroke these a lot first though before I could actually cut into them! I also had great fun playing with my new Stempleglede Grunge stamps and the gorgeous flowers I got from Papirloftet. Oh and do you see the sweet little rocking horse die cut I added in the corner? Well it's been in my stash since I first started making cards, long before stamping when it was all just about cutting and sticking. But I knew it would work perfectly on this baby card so I'm glad I didn't get rid!

I'm off out now to get something in for tea as the cupboard is extremely bare! Enjoy the rest of your day and thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek ;o)
