Hope you are all well and surviving this cold, snowy snap still! Most of the snow has now gone where I am but there's more forcast for tomorrow! I think if we get another wintery day then we'll wrap up and go for a nice long walk.
Anyway, here is my card for Basic Grey where this week's challenges asks us to 'mix it up'. You have to use at least two ranges on your card, be it different papers or a mix of papers with embellishments. I've used my lovely new stamp sent to me in a RAK by Tara, you can see more of this below. This is one of those cards which is still growing on me, I think I like it but I'm not completely sure, lol! Maybe it's because the colours are a tad bright? Oh well, the image is certainly very adorable, isn't she?
Materials: Image - Stamping Bella Sentiment - Studio G Swirls Stamp - Kars Papers - Basic Grey Mellow Flowers - Prima and Flora Doodle Dies - Wizard Tags Trio Chip Stickers - Basic Grey Sultry Colouring - ProMarkers Embellishments - Brads, Spacers, Eyelets and Raffia from my stash
Now onto my RAK...... as you can see I have been totally spoilt with all these goodies. Bet you're wondering why I received a Christmas card in February though? Well, Tara posted this parcel to me on 11th December and I think it went on a round the world trip before arriving at its destination! I'm so glad it finally arrived though, it would have been awful if these lovely things had disappeared!
Here is the beautiful card Tara made me.......
Fantastic, isn't it?
Now before I disappear to get a shower, I just want to thank Alex, Chrissie and Laura for passing awards on to me. I haven't uploaded them this time because I have also received them a little while back, but I just wanted to say a big thank you for thinking of me :o)
Enjoy your weekend and I shall be back for the next Colour Create Challenge in the morning!
Cardmaking is my passion and I love sharing tips and ideas with other talented crafters. I wake up with ideas buzzing around in my head and go to sleep the same way. My family think I'm bonkers but that's fine by me. I have an ever-growing wishlist, made worse by all the wonderful cards I see when hopping around on a daily basis. I have made some wonderful friends through my hobby, long may it continue!!
Everything on this blog is my own work unless otherwise stated. I am extremely flattered if you take inspiration from the things I make and would be happy to visit you and see your work if you have used my designs as a base for creating your own projects.
