WOJ Challenge # 17

I've entered this week's WOJ challenge with a card you might think is for Christmas. Well in fact I've made it for my work colleague Owen who is 24 tomorrow. I couldn't resist creating a snowy scene because of the weather we've been having over the past few days and, as know he usually keeps the cards I make for him, I thought this would always be a reminder that we had snow around his birthday this year. Although it isn't completely unheard of to get snow in February, it doesn't really happen that often anymore. I was lucky enough to be able to use Charlie with Snowballs for my image, as my dear friend and namesake Tara sent me a wonderful box of goodies over from Canada which included this little cutie! Bet you didn't think I'd be using this one yet, heh T? (I'll be back tomorrow with some piccies of the lovely stash I received).

As well as making Owen a card I also baked him a cake so we can all celebrate with him in the morning. Are you drooling yet, hee hee?

Materials:
Image - Whiff of Joy
Background Image - received in a RAK
Sentiment - computer generated
Papers - Basic Grey Granola and Two Scoops
Punch - Large Snowflake Woodware, Small Snowflake XCut, Snowflake Border Woodware
Colouring - ProMarkers
Embellishments - Sticky Gems from my stash
Accents - Stickles Glitter Glue

I'll let you know how the cake tasted tomorrow then! :o)
