Happy Sunday to you all! Hope you have had a lovely, chilled day. I certainly have! My friend Sarah called around with her hubby and the kids earlier and I think they were only planning to stay for an hour, but numerous cups of tea and a long while later we were still sat gassing, lol! We also had a good nosey on some crafting websites and planned how to spend some secret money (you know, the kind you haven't really got but you'll find it from somewhere) on some yummy papers and Magnolia stamps. Have you seen on Sir Stampalot they have some new Easter Magnolias available for preorder....... these do look very nice indeed!
Anyhow, the upshot of all these goings on is that I've only just remembered to upload my card for Colour Create! I hope you get the chance to join in again this week, you might think the colours and theme are a bit tricky but I bet you'll enjoy the challenge. Hop over now and check out the cards made by the uber talented Design Team, they really are super duper and will hopefully inspire you to try something a bit different again.
I wasn't really sure what to use for my card but, as I have one or two male cards to make in the next few weeks, I thought a Snoopy image would be very useful. I really love this one where he's flying his plane and the colours seemed to be perfect. I have had so much use out of my Autumn Leaves Tickets stamps too, yet again they provided the perfect sentiment!
Materials: Image - Stampabilities Sentiment - Autumn Leaves Tickets Papers - from my stash Colouring - ProMarkers Embellishments - Brads and Ribbon from my stash Accents - Letraset Fineliner for doodling
There's nothing much more to it than that, quite a simple card but I'm pleased with how this one turned out!
I'm off to have a major blog hop now....... I so need to catch up!
Cardmaking is my passion and I love sharing tips and ideas with other talented crafters. I wake up with ideas buzzing around in my head and go to sleep the same way. My family think I'm bonkers but that's fine by me. I have an ever-growing wishlist, made worse by all the wonderful cards I see when hopping around on a daily basis. I have made some wonderful friends through my hobby, long may it continue!!
Everything on this blog is my own work unless otherwise stated.
